Instapundit had a link to a survey of Mexicans showing that over 50% of respondents want stronger border security on their southern border. And their government is going to give it to them. Damn hypocrites. I wonder when the pro-immigration forces in this country are going to wake up and realize they are naive idiots and the Mexicans are taking advantage of them every step of the way.
Why is it ok for the Mexicans to want to stop immigration from Central America, but it's racist if we want to stop immigration from Mexico?

You know this is a touchy subject. I grew up in Coronado, Calif, which is very close to the Tijuana border. The socioeconomic lines in Mexico are black and white...well they were more so about 20 years ago. There was super elite rich, and destitute. With American jobs to undocumented workers--who send $ back down south, there is an entire new middle class emerging. I think it's all or nothing. Document thyself, get into the country legally, pay taxes and fully be a part of the system...or get TF out. And English is the US language and that's that.
