The government has finally gotten around to releasing the translations of some of the documents taken from Saddam's regime during the initial invasion. Among the revelations? That no WMD theory is in tatters. He had them, his generals knew it, and they got them shipped out of the country beforehand. Not only that, but he planned ot reconstitute his WMD programs as soon as sanctions were lifted. Here's a link to an article about it.
