"As the Ranking Democrat on the House Intelligence Committee, I have been briefed since 2003 on a highly classified NSA foreign collection program that targeted Al Qaeda. I believe the program is essential to US national security and that its disclosure has damaged critical intelligence capabilities."

So much for the canard that Bush lied about informing members of Congress about the wiretapping program. He did tell them, and even Nancy Pelosi admits it, yet other Democrats continue to say he lied and went behind Congress to do this. Sounds like some of the Democrats are lying, because for sure they must know by now that Bush did tell people. They also know that much of the country will ignore the evidence and continue to believe anything that makes Bush look bad, so they can continue spreading lies knowing that they won't get called on it, except by a few right wing nuts like myself.
