Why was the left so pissed off about some minor, and mostly unintentional damage to Korans, but no one seems upset about the nearly systematic extinction of gays in Iran? I guess because the former makes Bush look bad, and the latter helps justify our intervention in the Middle East and also props up a basically evil regime. The left has rarely seen an evil regime they didn't love.

it's because we don't like bush and want him to leave ok...i mean it's so obvious by now.

he's a bungler.

plus we can only control what US troops do, not what those whacky iranians do.

incidentally, i find destruction of the koran to be perfectly alright. i also have no problem with defiling bibles, torahs, bhagavad gitas, and native american rain dance instruction sheets. however, the line gets drawn at kurt vonnegut books, because those are actually literature.

All Bush has doen si try to save people like the gays that are being hung in Iran. All the left has done is obstruct him from being able to accomplish saving people living under the sort of opression that liberalism is supposed to be against. They are favoring exactly the opposite parties than their ideology should favor.

Link to what, exactly? That gay people are being f'ed up in Iran, or that Bush is trying to help the region by promoting democracy in Iraq with the hop that it will spread peace and love throughout the region? Google it yourself, you know how.
