There are now rumors coming out that the guy who quit as an investigator on Volcker's Oil-for-Food group in protest has handed over documents showing that the committee decided to softball any wrongdoing by Annan so as to save the U.N.'s reputation. Gosh, I can get over the systematic rape and pimping of 13 year old girls by U.N. peacekeepers, but if that Kofi was involved in stealing money, well that's just wrong!

It makes me happy to see third parties that believe in the right things, even though I get sad that they'll never win and we'll always be stuck with the losers we have now. Agree/disagree?

Every party was a third party at some point. I think the Democrats descended from the "Democratic-Republican" party or something like that, which was a third party to the Whigs and Tories back in the post-Revolutionary era. It's been a while since I did American history. And the Republicans were formed just prior to the Civil War era.
