Read this! It's a letter from Al Queda #2 overall to the #1 guy in Iraq. In it is reinforced basically every point that the right has made about Iraq. The extreme violence of the foreign Islamists is hurting their cause, the real war is in the media, that they should look to Vietnam as their example, and use thoughts of Vietnam to turn the American people away, etc., etc. These murderers basically say that they consider the left wing in the U.S. and the media here to be their allies. I'm sure Howard Dean is proud! At any rate, the terrorists think of the war like the right wing does, a struggle of democracy against Islamist totalitarianism, and the bad guys know htey can take advantage of the fact that half the U.S. incorrectly thinks of the war as US imperialist agression, having nothing to do with a group of people that want to slaughter everyone that will not bow to their rule.

You make a bogus point here: because the left opposes the war, and the terrorists dying oppose the war, howard dean should be "proud" that he opposes the war.

Ironically, in the same paragraph, you write:

"any rate, the terrorists think of the war like the right wing does..."

I guess the left and right both think like the terrorist do.

Pretty pointless garbage, sweetheart.

It's not inconsistent at all. The left and the terrorists don't think of the war in the same way at all, which is exactly why the left's actions and atittudes make them unintentional allies of the terrorists. Think about it this way. If you were a terrorist intent on inflicting sharia rule on the middle east, what would you want the U.S. to do? Easy, pull out ASAP and leave Iraq to extremists. WHat does the left wing in the U.S. want? Pull out of Iraq ASAP. This is because the left doesn't seem to believe the terrorists when they state that their goals are to institute opressive sharia law in the entire middle east and drive Israel in to the sea. The left doesn't seem to believe them. Only the right thinks about the war in the same way as the terrorists, which is that this is a real battle for control not just of the middle east geographic region (and the rights of the people within to enjoy freedom or oppression), but of international politics and world energy sources.

Is that understandable to you? If not, read quotes from left wingers like Dean, and quotes from Al Jazeera. You'll notice that while the reasoning and long-term goals are different, the road to get there is the same. Dean says, "Leave Iraq." The terrorists say "Leave Iraq." The right wing says, "No, we won't abandon millions and millions of people to be slaughtered." Which group seems to care about human life and freedom the most?
