According to this article, the Iraqi government is claiming that the war has cost about 12,000 Iraqi lives. This is a afr cry less than the 100,000 that the left likes to quote from an oft-disputed report by the British Lancet magazine. Of course the truth, 12,000, does not fit the left's agenda, so you can bet it will be ignored in favor of the lie of 100,000. I wonder what my pal Dave, who has used the 100,000 number on his blog will think now that the truth has once again come to light. I saw again, because this is not the first time that a reputable study has placed the death count between 10k and 20k, nor will this be the first time that the left ignores the truth in favor of the lies that fit their agenda. Don't forget the plastic turkey mess from last Thanksgiving. Despite the fact that Bush had a real turkey on the table when he went to visit troops in Iraq for the holiday last year, left wingers the world over continue to spread the lie that he had a plastic turkey in order to make him look bad. The right wins arguments with the truth, the left with lies. When lies come out on the right, practitioners absorb that, and move on with what is really true. When lies from the left come to light, they ignore the truth in favor of the more palatable lie. At least that seems to be my general experience in following politics.

Show me where I ever said 100000 dead in my blog!
I didn't check. I'm certain I've seen you reference that number before, though.
Oh, you didnt check; how shocking. I did and I can't find it anywhere in my blog, so stop accusing me of things I never said.
I'm certain you used it either in a comment on here, or an email, but please forgive me for not having proof. I'd be upset at myself if I were a news outlet like CBS or Newsweek. Thankfully I'm not the press and never claimed to be always accurate. Anyway, that doesn't change my point, just removes you from the conversation.
